08:00 – Departure from Almaty
- Transfer from the city in a comfortable SUV.
- The journey takes about 1.5 hours (75 km).
09:30 – Museum of the «Golden Man» (Issyk)
- Exhibition of ancient Saka culture
- Unique artifacts, including the Golden Man – a symbol of Kazakhstan.
- History of burial mounds and ancient rituals.
- Duration: 40 minutes.
10:30 – Lake Issyk – the turquoise pearl of the Tien Shan
- We drive up to the parking lot, a short walk to the shore (500 m).
- A walk along the picturesque coast.
- Time for rest, photography and enjoying nature (~1 hour).
- The guide tells stories about the history of the lake and the disaster of 1963.
12:30 – Panoramic view of the Issyk Gorge
- Stop for photos with breathtaking views.
- Magnificent views of the mountain ranges of the Zailiyskiy Alatau.
13:30 – Lunch at the cafe «Annushka»
- Menu: national and European cuisine.
- Relaxing rest before the second part of the trip.
15:00 – Turgen Gorge – the path to the Bear Waterfall
- Transfer to Turgen Gorge (40 km, 1 hour).
- Parking, getting ready for a little hiking.
16:00 – Trekking to Bear Waterfall
- Walking distance (~1.5 km one way, 30 minutes on the way).
- Breathtaking views of the gorge and turbulent mountain rivers.
- Relaxation at the waterfall, photo session, fresh air.
17:30 – Return to Almaty
- Departure from the Turgen Gorge.
- Travel time is ~2 hours.
- Estimated arrival time: 19:30 – 20:00.
